Career Mentor
Part Time
Career Vantage UK is currently seeking several part-time Career Mentors to deliver coaching across the UK. We want caring and inspiring career mentors who are passionate about helping young graduates achieve their goals. We are looking to work with coaches who wish to work part-time from their own homes, wherever in the world that might be. Tasks may include coaching professionals in a variety of different industries, at a range of different stages in their career. You will be coaching graduate and undergraduate students/graduates who are studying or who who look to build professional careers within prestigious organizations, within a variety of industry sectors.
Your role as a Career Mentor would include
·Deliver one-on-one career coaching on job application process and long-term career success to university students/graduates. Flexible hours.
·Coach students/graduates with commercial awareness interview questions.
·Deliver one-on-one mock interview over the phone, in particular industry specific questions.
·Share work experience and industry insight.
·Provide timely written feedback both during and after the session using the company form.
Requirements:
– 5 years working experience in any industry.(Internet | Banking/ Finance/ Accounting | Strategy Consulting | FMCG | Marketing | Real Estate | Engineering | IT | Legal/ Law )
– HR related work experience in relevant industry is an added advantage.
– Previous experience recruiting/sourcing/hiring/interviewing is preferred, but not a must.
– Good written and verbal communication skills in English
– Nurturing personality, patience and a sense of humor
– Enjoy interaction with university-level individuals
– Bachelor degree required
