请问您一天在公司的工作情况是怎么样的呐？

-Tax consulting:

Providing tax advise to corporate clients, which requires a strong understanding of tax legislation

.

-Tax returns: 

Assisting corporate clients to file and pay their tax returns in accordance to UK Tax Law.

-Tax accounting:

Assisting the audit team with the tax aspect for their clients. To ensure taxes are accurately reported in the financial statements.

一般来说，目前中国留学生找工作的弱项是什么？您在教学中如何帮助学生提高这些弱项？

The biggest issues are with language – being able to speak proficiently. The key to help this is by structuring your answers. This is an area I can be great help in.

Confidence is also another weak point, that can be worked on through changing your mindset.

辅导过程中，学生最常问的最感兴趣的问题有哪些呢? 

Students would like assistance to prepare interview questions. Typically companies would ask standardised questions that I would highly recommend to practise.

Trade secrets: having worked in PwC, I have a sense of which areas within the business has high growth and the opportunities within the company. I am also aware of teams (such as the China Business Team) within PwC that will highlight the skills the particular student possesses.

如果学生的沟通能力不强，应该如何锻炼提高？有什么面试技巧可以帮助他们？

Whilst watching TV shows, you can try and copy the pronunciation of the speaker.

By forcing yourself to call people, this will improve confidence for telephone interviews.

Getting a lot of practise in with interviews.

For those really struggling, you may write out your entire answer to practise. Although I would recommend memorising only key points of your writing.
